Minersville Fire Rescue responded to a call around 1820 for a commercial fire in the Borough of Cressona. Ladder 519, Rescue 518, and Utility 520 responded. Units were  in service  about 4 hrs. and released  around 2230.                                                   

        While returning home,units were dispatched to N. Manheim township for smoke in a structure at the Buffet House ( formerly the River Inn) . The call was upgraded to a confirmed structure fire enroute.  MFR operated to the rear of the building and was in service over 5 hrs. .Multiple Fire companies from Schuylkill and Berks counties fought this stubborn blaze.
