The Minersville Fire Rescue was formed by the consolidation of the former Independent Hose Co. and Rescue Hook & Ladder Co.


Talks began in the beginning of 2009.By June of 2009 both Co.'s voted unanimously to form what is now known as Minersville Fire Rescue. Both The Rescue And Independent have enjoyed proud pasts in serving the Minersville community. Our new organization looks forward to serving with that same level of pride.

         Minersville Fire Rescue responded to a call around 1820 for a commercial fire in the Borough of Cressona. Ladder 519, Rescue 518, and Utility 520 responded. Pine Grove Flooding

On Sept 7th-8th from 22:00 hrs till  0600 hrs. Minersville Fire Rescue reponded to a call for help with evacuations in Pine Grove . Rescue 518 and  Utility 520 responded. At 17:38 hours Rescue 518, Utility 520 and Quad 520 were dispatched to 199 N.
